CSB1 power supplies

The recommended power supply specifications for CSB1 command station / boosters is 15 volts and at least 5 amps (15V5A).  A higher amperage power supply may be used but CSB1 devices limit track power supply to 5 amps.

 

DCCSC procures power supplies from various sources.  Item csb1-p may appear exactly as pictured.

CSB1 units accept 5.5 - 2.5 mm centre-positive input connectors.  DCCSC only offers compatible power supplies. 

 

DCCSC may substitute 15V6A power supplies depending on availability.  These are fully compatible with CSB1 devices (but cannot deliver more than 5A to the track).

Small layouts or locomotive fleets may work well with voltages as low as 12 volts and 3 amps (12V3A).
