Testimonial

The following testimonial from a customer who purchased a CSB1 command station / booster and power adaptor is reproduced, unedited, by kind permission.

I've had Digitrax and NCE both, and now it's DCC-EX all the way for me.

If you're thinking about a new DCC system, you should consider DCC-EX. It offers so much more than the commercially available offerings from Digitrax and NCE.

For starters: 5 Amps. Then there's the WiFi. And terminals for both Programming Track and Mainline. For the Digitrax DCS52 you'll need a LNWI for WiFi. NCE doesn't even offer WiFi and you need to add a module to get a dedicated Programming track. Another neat perk is the USB interface. I have all the programming for my locos in JMRI Decoder Pro and it makes programming new locos a breeze. Again, included. Digitrax makes you get a PR4 and NCE has nothing.

But that's not the best part at all. Like a Digitrax DCS52, or an NCE PowerCab, you plug power into it, attach your track wires to it (both with the exact same connectors as theirs), open your phone throttle, and run trains.

It's. That. Easy.

All for about $200 with tax.

Ordering from DCCSC is also safe and secure. Tom responded to queries in a very timely fashion, and answered all my questions when I was a little nervous about ordering something from somewhere I'd never done business. And when it arrived it was exactly what I hoped for: well packaged and complete. I was running trains within minutes of unpacking the box.
